DOWN/CROWBAR's KIRK WINDSTEIN Joins SUICIDE WAR

SUICIDE WAR, the hardcore/metal/thrash hybrid from New Orleans, Louisiana featuring two members of VALUME NOB — Frey Thieler on guitar and Sammy Molina on bass — alongside BLACK LABEL SOCIETY/ex-CROWBAR drummer Craig Nunenmacher and vocalist Ben Falgoust (GOATWHORE, SOILENT GREEN),has issued the following update:

"Yes!! It is true.... Kirk [Windstein; DOWN, CROWBAR] will be doing vocal duties alongside Ben in SUICIDE WAR. He will also be filling the bass duties, if and when SUICIDE WAR plans to do some shows.

"I know some people are expecting his signature CROWBAR-style vocals, but he has approached this project from a completely different angle.

"We are so pleased and thankful to have Kirk involved with this project.

"We hope all the fans appreciate what we are trying to accomplish with this beast, and we promise you all won't be let down!!"

SUICIDE WAR last fall tapped engineer Eddie Mapp (STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, EVANESCENCE, PAPA ROACH, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE) to mix some of the band's recordings.

Teaser tracks featuring guitar, bass and drums have been posted on the band's MySpace page.
